We welcome you as a patient and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with medical services. The information that follows is designed to answer many typical patient questions. We want you to know about our policies and methods of practice. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask so that we may be able to address your concerns.

Dr. Arnold is board certified in General Surgery and board certified in Hyperbaric Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Scott County Medical Society and the Iowa Medical Society. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed a four-year general surgery residency program at Des Moines General Hospital.

Dr. Arnold offers a full line of general surgery services, which include gallbladder, bowel, breast, hernia, hemorrhoid, wound care and trauma related surgery. He uses laparoscopic and traditional techniques where appropriate. The Midwest Hernia Institute is a sub-specialized portion of Dr. Arnold's practice. The Institute was developed to highlight those abdominal wall hernia procedures which demonstrate Dr. Arnold's additional training and expertise.

Dr. Arnold is able to provide full time general surgery services with access to all Quad City hospitals and outpatient centers. He provides trauma, wound care and hyperbaric medicine consultative services on a part time basis.

Through these innovative state of the art programs, we hope to offer an expanded and well-rounded general surgery practice to our patients.
