Colon disease may take many forms. The incidence of colon cancer continues to rise making routine screening procedures extremely important. Other forms of severe colon disease include ulcerative colitis and Chrohn's disease. Both of these can be extremely debilitating and of life long duration. We understand the importance of early detection and treatment.

A team approach will be used in the more serious colon illnesses. That may include diagnostic radiology, gastroenterology, pathology, oncology and surgical intervention where necessary.

Somewhat less severe, spastic colon disease is also common and may be very painful. It is important that we identify and manage these types of functional colon diseases as well. Over all, colon disease can be silent or symptomatic. It is our job to correctly diagnose your specific disease process and plan a course of treatment.
